Our customer shared their project Success at Wakefield Acoustics stating "We are proud to share news of a recent investment that’s enhancing our welding operations here at Wakefield Acoustics. To support the fabrication of large-scale acoustic containers, used to house standby generators and other industrial equipment, we’ve introduced two welding tractors and 48 metres of rigid track to automate the butt welding of heavy steel sheets. Our team worked hard throughout the implementation of the new equipment, running test welds that delivered perfectly consistent results. This upgrade isn’t just about boosting efficiency and expanding capability, it’s also about supporting our skilled welders. By automating the welding of 4-metre+ steel sections, we’re reducing physical strain while ensuring repeatable, high-quality welds every time. A great step forward for our operations and our people."
