ABM-14 Powerful Bevelling Solution Shipped To First Response Site Services

A BIG thanks to Carlyle and the team at First Response Site Services Ltd for the sale of one of our ABM-14 Plate & Pipe Bevelling machines. It is heading out today with a few of our JEI beanies, which will hopefully keep some heads warm in the workshop!

For those that don’t know, the ABM-14 is a powerful bevelling solution designed to prep steel, stainless, aluminium, and alloy plates & pipes with precision and efficiency. Again, a big thanks to Carlyle and the team.

Overview

In just one single run the machine can bevel up to 2.6 m/min. (8.5 ft/min.) to a width of 12 mm (1/2’’) in workpieces with tensile strength of Rm ≤ 392 MPa (57,000 psi). Maximum bevel width is 14 mm (9/16’’). Depending on materials two or more runs are needed. Bevel angles include 30° (standard) and with optional angle variation devices also 22.5°, 25°, 35°, 37.5° or 45°.The JEI range is further enhanced by the Steelbeast® range of fabrication solutions, designed to prepare steel for further processes, with a complete range of solutions for plate and pipe bevelling, punching, sawing, grinding and weld automation.
